All the Details From Our 2024 Hot Girl Summer Wellness Series at The Pendry
On July 13th, wellness enthusiasts gathered at the stunning Pendry Hotel for an unforgettable event that nourished both body and mind.
Hosted by Wepa Beauty & Healthy+Well, this second installment of the Hot Girl Summer Wellness Series focused on embracing the power of movement, mindfulness, and self-care. With picturesque views of the city and the luxurious atmosphere of the Pendry as our backdrop, attendees spent the day focusing on their well-being while connecting with a community of like-minded women.
Morning Wellness Flow: Pilates Meets Yoga
We kicked off the day with an energizing fusion of pilates and yoga, led by our incredible instructors. Angie Hughes, founder of Wepa Beauty, took the group through a dynamic Pilates flow that strengthened their cores and energized their spirits. Following this, Naomi Hutchinson from Healthy+Well guided us through a calming yoga session, helping attendees stretch, breathe, and center themselves. With the chic outdoor terrace basking in sunlight, the session felt serene and invigorating. Guests were treated to cold eucalyptus towels during the final restorative pose, enhancing the rejuvenating atmosphere.
Connect & Shop Wellness
After the yoga flow, guests had the chance to mingle and connect with each other, enjoying the energy of the community. Attendees shopped from our curated wellness vendors, including Wepa Beauty, which showcased self-care essentials like their popular Eucalyptus Shower Bouquets, as well as Joia Life, who provided refreshing natural juices. The vibe was electric as everyone bonded over shared wellness goals and the curated offerings that added a touch of indulgence to their routines
Refresh & Refuel
To refuel, we offered guests a gorgeous custom grazing board created by A Little Extra LA. The spread featured an array of fresh fruits, artisanal cheeses, crackers, and more, providing the perfect balance of healthy and indulgent snacks after our morning flow. Paired with Michael B. Jordan’s sea moss wellness beverage Moss and açaí bowls from Ubatuba Açaí, attendees enjoyed a delicious and nutritious boost while continuing to chat and unwind.
Unwind in Style
After the class, attendees were invited to relax further with access to the Pendry Hotel's luxurious steam room and spa ammenties. They could change into lounge wear, enjoying a moment of post-class tranquility in a serene spa setting. This exclusive access allowed everyone to continue their wellness journey in comfort and style, making it the perfect way to end the event.
